Construction at the parsonage
Two projects were recently completed at the parsonage, addressing structural and safety issues. In the basement, the two steel I-beams that supported the house had twisted during construction. They have been straightened and properly supported. The front porch had begun to pull away from the house, causing damage to the brick work. It had been poured as a monolith, without a foundation, and the 9000 pounds of old concrete were slowly pulling away. This was replaced with a brand new front porch, with footer and foundation, and the rest of the sidewalk was leveled. Thanks to the careful work of our Trustee team and the generosity of the church!
