This Thanksgivng, we here at Christ Church wish you many blessings on this day of gratitiude and thanks. We lift this prayer for all you this day.
Loving God, we bow our hearts to you on Thanksgiving Day and pray. We thank you for all you've done, especially for the gift of Jesus, Your Son. For beauty in nature, your glory we see, for joy and health, friends, and family. You graciously share your blessings for daily provision, mercy, and care.
On this day of feasting, family and friends, we remember the hungry, we remember the sick, we remember the friendless and we remember the enslaved. May these remembrances stir us to service that your gifts may be used for others.
So today, we offer this response of praise with a promise to follow you all of our days. Amen.
