Faith Challenges

1. Trust Your Calling
📖 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you.” — Jeremiah 1:5

Jeremiah tried to excuse himself: “I am only a boy.” We often do the same — “I’m too young… too old… too weak… too busy… too unworthy.” But God’s call doesn’t rest on our adequacy. It rests on His foreknowledge and purpose. He knew Jeremiah before he was born, and He knows you fully — your gifts, your struggles, and the seasons of your life.

👉 Challenge: This week, take time to reflect on where God may be calling you right now. Write it down in a journal, or speak it aloud in prayer. Name both your hesitations and your hopes. Ask God: “What are You forming me for in this season?” Then, take one concrete step — however small — toward living into that call.

2. Lean on God’s Keeping
📖 “Upon you I have leaned from my birth; it was you who took me from my mother’s womb. My praise is continually of you.” — Psalm 71:6

The psalmist reminds us that God’s keeping presence stretches across our whole life. From birth to old age, God has been a refuge, a strength, a fortress. Yet when challenges arise — illness, uncertainty, anxiety, change — we are tempted to lean on ourselves instead of God.

👉 Challenge: Each day this week, when fear rises or pressure mounts, pause and pray Psalm 71:6: “Upon you I have leaned from my birth.” Speak it aloud in the morning before your day begins. Whisper it in the evening before you rest. Let it become a rhythm of trust — a reminder that God has been faithful, is faithful now, and will keep you in the days ahead.
